The 1992 BTCC season was one of the closest fought. It was a 3-way battle going into the last round at Silverstone betwee, Tim Harvey, John Cleland and Will Hoy. It ended controversially as Steve Soper (Tim Harvey's team mate at the time) and John Cleland collided, handing Tim Harvey the title.
