Gatebil is an event held in Scandanavia which represents the fun side of motorsport. It's very laid back and hosts itself to a lot of drifting and general track mayhem! It is certainly geared to the younger generations of car enthusiasts - you won't see any tweed jackets or cross-ply tyres here! If it's one thing the Scandanavian's know how to do, it's build cars with way too much power (if there is such a thing). This event is their superbowl. Everything from hypo, truck turbo'ed Audi Group B replica's to the finest from Japan grace the circuit. It is certainly an event to put on the bucket list. I think I need another lifetime to do everything on mine! Enjoy!

Ryan Bestulic - a diehard motorsport enthusiast from Sydney, Australia. I am an 80s kid (born in 1984) and I currently race my own car - a Nissan Pulsar SSS (I can hear you snickering from here!) around the country. From the age of 3 (or possibly earlier according to my folks) I have been an absolute gearhead. If I am not doing something related to cars, there is something drastically wrong!
